The Association of Human Services Counselors of NB (AHSCNB) welcomes you. Your board members have been working hard to make this longtime dream come true. The effort to have an incorporated Association started in the spring of 2018 and by December of that year we achieved one of our goals.
Membership is set at an affordable $100/year — roughly the price of a cup of coffee per week. Membership numbers represent POWER for all of us working as HSCs.

Association Objectives
600 employees in family support, attendant care, ESSP agencies, community residences and other recognized HSCs become members of AHSCNB.
A base wage rate for HSCs established at $25.25/hour by April 2026.
80% of HSCs working in the sector become certified under the PETL process by April 1, 2023.
Determine HSC continuing education needs and identify best learning methodologies using PAC process priorities and best practices.
